Custom Commission Pricing
By commissioning a unique Stained Glass work of art from EricaAnn Glass Studio, you are not only supporting an independent artist, but you’ll receive a final art-piece that is truly one-of-a-kind. This isn’t a mass production assembly line; I am one artist with two hands, creating something very special, just for you. I enjoy intricate designs which take time and attention to detail. This is my artistic profession, a real-life business, not a hobby-craft. Most custom commissions take 40+ hours to create; within each of those hours, I am ensuring that the quality of the work is at the highest level — worthy of becoming a treasured heirloom for many, many years. My promise to you: I will deliver thoughtful communication, high-quality care, precision of craft and ultimately, JOY.
So, how much will it cost?
A custom Stained Glass artwork from EricaAnn Glass Studio starts at $300. Pricing is based on piece-count, meaning: how many individual pieces of glass make up your design and then a tiered per-piece-cost depending on size of the finished work. Average cost for a medium sized window panel is around $500. Here is an example, showing the $300 minimum (a fairly simple design, by piece-count):
13” to 16” diagonal measurement = 48 pieces of glass* x $6.25/piece = $300
What about something larger, or more intricate?
24” to 30” diagonal measurement = 80 pieces of glass* x $9.75/piece = $780
*Each size tier has a minimum piece count.
Higher piece-count = more complex and detailed design
Larger size = more glass and materials used
Of course, your custom commission could be between these examples, or bigger! During the consultation process, we will discuss your budget and ensure that your vision aligns with your budget. I am happy to show you a numbered image of your drawing and share the math associated during the quote process. Shipping and boxing costs, plus appropriate tax will be added to the cost of your finished work of art.

PAYMENT POLICY: A 50% deposit is required after consultation and we are both ready for me to begin drawing your design. Upon payment of the deposit, I draw your design and show you the custom drawing, with a final cost. We make edits until it’s perfect. Once everything is approved, I cut glass! Final balance is due (including shipping/tax) by ship date or in-hand delivery.
