Practicing what, you may ask? 
I work primarily in the "Tiffany Foil" method = example: a Tiffany lamp. I wanted to hone my lead came skills, which is how a church or installed exterior window is made. Leaded stained glass is best used for larger scale work and exterior facing windows (waterproofed via mudding). Leaded Stained Glass designs are typically less detailed and complex than what can be accomplished with the Tiffany Foil method, but have a traditional style and beauty that is most recognizable as classic stained glass.
